Shoot Your Shot is strictly restricted to adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Accounts found to belong to a minor are terminated and the associated data purged, except where preservation is required for child-safety reporting. Zero tolerance for CSAM: we maintain zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material and exploitation. Prohibited content is blocked at upload where detectable, scanned by hash-matching, and apparent CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and preserved as directed by law and counsel before removal. Report any content or behavior in the app via report/block, or email safety@sysdating.com.
Account and profile information: display name, birthdate (used to verify you are 18+), gender, dating intent and preferences, occupation, education, height, religion, zodiac sign, hometown/city, languages, and lifestyle details you choose to add (such as drinking, smoking, exercise, pets, diet), plus any social handles you choose to connect (e.g., Instagram, Spotify). Content you create: profile photos and video clips, voice prompts and voice notes, written prompt answers and captions, your first-date plans, and the messages you send and receive in chats (text, images, and clips). Identity verification information: if you use selfie verification, we collect your selfie and use automated liveness and face-matching to confirm you match your profile photos. This processing involves biometric facial geometry and is performed for us by a third-party identity verification provider. We do not require or collect a government-issued ID document for this feature. Location information: with your permission, we collect precise location (GPS) from your device, and may derive approximate location from your IP address or network signals, to show you people and date venues near you. Anti-stalking safeguards: other users never see your precise coordinates or live location, and distances are always rounded to whole miles. In the swipe deck, distance is refreshed when the app is opened, and a card leaves your deck once you swipe on it. On profiles you are connected with (matches and chats), distance updates at most once per week — not on a fixed schedule — based on the most recent app open, so no one can track your movements live. Interaction and safety information: likes, passes, "shots," matches, blocks, reports and complaints, moderation outcomes, and reputation signals generated by your use of the Service. Device and technical information: device model, operating system, browser type, IP address, app version, push notification tokens, and crash/error logs generated by our own systems. Membership, points, and payment information: your membership tier, points balance, and points transaction history. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers — Apple or Google for in-app purchases, and our payment processor for website purchases — and in-app subscriptions are managed through our subscription platform. We do not collect or store your full payment card number — card data goes directly to the payment processor. Credentials: email address, mobile phone number, password (stored salted and hashed), and authentication tokens for the sign-in methods you use (email/password, Google, Apple).
• To operate the Service: create and display your profile, power discovery and matching, messaging, voice and video calls, and the date planner. • Verification & fraud prevention: verify age and identity, and prevent fraud, fake accounts, and underage use. • Safety & moderation: automated and human moderation of photos, videos, and messages; enforcement of our Terms; investigation of reports. • AI-assisted features: provide the in-app dating coach and photo tools when you choose to use them. • Communications: send service messages, match and message notifications (push and email), and respond to support requests. • AI training and improvement: train and improve our AI features and safety systems using anonymized, de-identified information — including messages from deleted accounts once anonymized. • Legal compliance: comply with legal obligations, including child-safety reporting.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only as follows: • With other users: your profile (photos, videos, prompts, profile details, and rounded distance) is visible to other members as part of the Service. Content you send in a chat is visible to that chat's participants. • Identity verification provider — selfie identity verification (liveness and face matching). • Voice and video calling infrastructure — carries call media in real time. Calls are not recorded. • Cloud hosting, storage, and content-delivery providers — store and deliver media and data, and run CSAM hash-scanning on uploaded media. • Push notification services — deliver notifications to your device. • Email delivery provider — sends transactional email. • AI service providers — power the dating coach, server-side photo analysis, and optional photo effects you choose to use. • Google — sign-in, and automated chat-text classification for safety moderation. • Payment and subscription providers — process purchases (website and in-app) and manage subscriptions and purchase history on our behalf. • Advertising partners — advertising on our web experience only. Our iOS and Android store apps do not display third-party ads. • For legal and safety reasons: to comply with law or legal process; to report apparent CSAM to NCMEC; and to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users and the public. • Business transfers: if Shoot Your Shot, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer subject to this Policy.
Photos and videos you upload pass automated moderation — on-device scanning and, where needed, cloud analysis — before publication, to block prohibited content. Chat text passes an automated safety classifier. The AI dating coach generates suggestions from the context you provide it; AI photo tools process only images you submit to them. These systems support, and do not replace, human review of reports and appeals.
Delete in the app: go to You > Settings > Profile > Delete Account to delete your account. Delete on the web: visit https://sysdating.com/delete-account or email admin@sysdating.com from your account email. What deletion does: your profile, photos, videos, and identifying account information are permanently deleted, normally within 30 days of your request; backups cycle out within 90 days. Messages: when your account is deleted, messages you sent are anonymized — your name, profile link, and contact information are removed, and the anonymized messages cannot be linked back to you or your original profile. Anonymized messages are retained and may be used to train and improve our AI features and safety systems. Because anonymization removes the link to your account, we cannot identify or delete individual messages after your account is deleted. Safety and legal records: records we must keep for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention reasons — including CSAM reports and evidence, abuse reports, and records of bans — are retained as required by law and our safety obligations. While your account is active, we retain your information for as long as needed to provide the Service as described above.
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR/UK GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent (for example, location or notifications in your device settings). We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in our store apps. To exercise any right, use the in-app tools or email admin@sysdating.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time the law requires.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, passwords are salted and hashed, and access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure; please use a unique password and report suspected issues to safety@sysdating.com.
We are based in the United States. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
We will post changes here and update the effective date; material changes will also be announced in the app. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
