You must be at least 18 years old. You will be asked for your birthdate at registration; anyone under 18 is blocked, and accounts later found to belong to a minor are terminated immediately. You must be legally able to enter this contract, must create only one account, and must not be prohibited from using services like ours under applicable law. The information you give us must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
Shoot Your Shot is a dating and social discovery service: member profiles, discovery and matching, messaging, voice and video calls, a date planner featuring partner venues, an AI dating coach, points, and membership tiers. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. Voice and video calls are carried in real time and are not recorded. We do not guarantee you will match, meet, or form a relationship with anyone.
You own the content you post (photos, videos, voice prompts and notes, text, messages — "Your Content"). You grant Shoot Your Shot, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, copy, display, distribute, and process Your Content solely to operate, promote, moderate, and improve the Service. This license ends when your account is deleted, except for content that (a) other users received in conversations, (b) we must retain for legal or safety reasons, or (c) persists in backups for a limited cycle. You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to post it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
We enforce these rules with automated moderation and human review, consistent with Apple App Store Guideline 1.2 and Google Play's user-generated-content policies. The following are prohibited, in profiles, photos, videos, messages, and calls: • Any content involving minors, or sexualization of minors — zero tolerance; violations are reported to NCMEC and law enforcement • Nudity or sexually explicit material in profiles or public areas • Non-consensual content of any kind, including intimate images shared without consent • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discriminatory abuse • Impersonation, catfishing, fake or misleading profiles • Scams, solicitation, prostitution or sex trafficking, commercial spam, and requests for money or gift cards • Content that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights, or that is otherwise illegal. Reporting and blocking: you can report and block any user from their profile and from any chat. We review reports and act on them — including warning, restricting, or terminating accounts — promptly and in our discretion. Contact safety@sysdating.com for urgent safety issues.
We do not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification on all users, and optional selfie verification confirms only that a person matches their photos — it is not a guarantee of identity, character, or safety. You are responsible for your interactions, online and in person. Exercise caution meeting anyone: meet in public places, tell someone where you'll be, arrange your own transportation, and never send money to someone you met on the Service. In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) first, then report the user to us.
Points are a virtual in-app currency with no cash value. They cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for money, and unused points are forfeited when an account is deleted or terminated for cause. Membership tiers add benefits (for example, removing ads on the web experience and added features). Paid memberships renew automatically as described at checkout until cancelled. Where you buy determines who bills you: purchases made on our website are processed by our payment provider and can be managed or cancelled by contacting us or through the billing link we provide; purchases made inside our iOS or Android apps are processed by Apple or Google and managed through our subscription platform; subscriptions are cancelled in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Refunds are governed by the policies of the payment provider through which you purchased. We may change points, tiers, pricing, and benefits prospectively with notice in the app.
The dating coach and AI photo tools generate automated output that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. They are provided for assistance and entertainment, are not professional advice (relationship, medical, legal, or otherwise), and you are responsible for how you use them. Content you submit to AI features is processed by our AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service, its design, software, branding, and venue/date-planner content (other than Your Content and partner content) belong to Shoot Your Shot, LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer (except where law permits), or use the Service to build a competing product or dataset.
You may delete your account at any time (You > Settings > Profile > Delete Account, or https://sysdating.com/delete-account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or are inactive as permitted by law, with or without notice depending on severity. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any user's identity, statements, or content are accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shoot Your Shot, LLC and its officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or your interactions with other users — including in-person meetings. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shoot Your Shot, LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered in Los Angeles County, California, and you and Shoot Your Shot, LLC each waive jury trial and participation in class actions, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court and seek injunctive relief in court.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here and announced in the app with a new effective date; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Shoot Your Shot, LLC regarding the Service. We may assign these Terms in connection with a business transfer; you may not assign yours.
