In-App Deletion (Instant & Immediate)
If you have the Shoot Your Shot application installed on your device, you can delete your account instantly at any time without waiting:
Open the Shoot Your Shot app on your mobile device.
Tap the You tab in the navigation bar.
Tap Settings → Profile.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Your profile, photos, matches, and session credentials are deleted upon confirmation.

Web Deletion Request
If you uninstalled the app, cannot log in, or prefer to request deletion via the web, submit your registered account email below. In compliance with Google Play and Apple App Store data policies, our team will process your request and permanently delete your account and associated personal data.

Data Deletion & Retention Disclosures
What Information Is Permanently Deleted
When your account deletion is processed:
Profile Information: Display name, birthdate, gender, dating intentions, occupation, education, height, religion, zodiac sign, hometown/city, languages, and all lifestyle answers.
Media: All uploaded photos, albums, video clips, and voice prompts/notes.
Connections & Activity: Matches, likes, passes, shots, date check-ins, and active session tokens.
Credentials: Account credentials, salted password hashes, and phone numbers.
What Information Is Retained & Legal Obligations
In accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws:
Conversation Continuity: Messages you sent in conversations are anonymized and delinked from your identity. Your name, photos, and profile link are removed so other participants retain message thread context without any linkage to you. Anonymized messages cannot be identified or deleted after account deletion.
Safety & Legal Compliance: Records that we are legally mandated to retain — including child safety reports and evidence submitted to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, abuse reports, and records of bans — are preserved strictly as required by law and safety obligations.
Financial Transactions: Records of past purchases and subscription transactions are maintained for accounting, tax, and audit compliance for the statutory limitation period.
Deletion Timeline
Direct in-app deletions occur immediately. Web-submitted requests are processed normally within 30 days of receipt. Inactive database backups cycle out completely within 90 days.
